Dan and Shannon Pointer

Dan is an excellent locksmith who had interest in locks from a very young age. His career has spanned both the traditional locksmithing and electronic world. Ranging from residential homes to large commercial card reader and camera systems, his unique skills are an asset to our customers.

We’re back in Cache Valley after raising our family in Southern Utah, and running a locksmith business there for many years, Dan got his start with Dwight Stone who opened Stone’s Lock and Key on 400 N. in Logan years ago. It’s good to be back in this beautiful area which puts us closer to our kids and grandkids. Once the grandkids started coming, we were interested in being where we could get the most time with them. It’s a good life!



Dan grew up on a dairy farm and my family owned a commercial fruit ranch, so we love nature and spend a lot of time outside. The hot springs here have been a fun discovery. We enjoy gardening, most recently expanding into growing flowers. Our 40 varieties of iris are ready to delight in the spring. We love faith, family, friends, learning, new adventures and good food. We look forward to meeting you and serving your lock and security needs.
